Registered Press and Media, Media Contacts

Media Registrations and Approval

We have a limited number of free press registration at CHI and hence we require media registration. This must be approved by the general chairs and approval is at the sole discretion of the general chairs.

For Whom is Media Registration

Journalists, editors, writers, analysts, professional bloggers or active contributors of media organizations, or news outlets, and freelance journalists for the purpose of editorial coverage of CHI 2023.

Having a personal blog or posting on social media (with limited reach) or being public relations do not qualify for media registration or press badges.

For Media Registration Requests please provide the following:

Verifyable Information about your professional affiliation (e.g., one or more of the following)

  • press pass (in German Presseausweis)
  • business card that clearly displays their name and organization name
  • link to their profile on the media outlet’s public website
  • LinkedIn Profile
  • Indicators of the reach (regular number of viewers, circulation numbers of the medium)

Examples that show that CHI2023 is relevant to your audience

  • Print Media, News Wires, News Management Services, Online Media, & Freelance Journalists
    • a link to the media outlets main page
    • three sample articles published within the last 12 months that are related to the topics of CHI2023.
  • Podcasts & Blogs
    • a link to the podcast’s or blog’s main page
    • three links to specific content items that are related to the topics of CHI2023.
  • Broadcast Media (Radio & Television)
    • a link to the media outlets main page
    • three sample media items published within the last 12 months that are related to the topics of CHI2023.
  • Analysts
    • two white papers or analytical product reviews published within the last 12 months including information where they were published.
